BOOK COVER TAPESTRIES

Brief

Bolen Books, a local bookstore in Victoria BC, contracts me to create large-scale tapestries of new and popular book covers for store advertisement. Every tapestry is painted by hand and installed by me in their front windows. These jobs push me as a designer by learning how to emulate another artist’s work on a much larger scale, accurately matching cover colours to paint colours and meticulously drawing typography.
